(LE MARS) A second observance of School Board Week was marked by Le Mars Mayor Dick Kirchoff with a proclamation Thursday night.

Kirchoff noted the contributions to education Boards of Education make in the education of young people when he attended the Gehlen Catholic Board of Education meeting. He also thanked the board members for their service.

Kirchoff congratulated Board President  Rick Kneip.
