(LE MARS) – The Black beat the White 7-0 in the Le Mars Bulldogs annual intersquad game Friday night at Jim Lorenzen Field in a tune-up for the season opener next Thursday night at Sioux City North. The Black shirts scored in the second quarter on a 29-yard pass from Gabe Rahn to Kolin Brooks, capping a 99-yard drive following a goal line stand at the one-yard line by the Black defense. Brennan Buss’ 67-yard run set-up the Rahn-to-Brooks TD-strike. The White threatened again early in the fourth quarter before the Black again stopped their opponents in the Red Zone on downs.
