Delores “Dee” Friske, 65, of Akron, Iowa passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.  Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron.  Reverend Dawn Quame will officiate.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011, with the family present after 6:00 p.m., and a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.
