That's Judy Bowman, Plymouth County Historical Museum Administrator and dog
lover. She works closely with a committee annually to put on the event in the
Museum's gymnasium.
In it's 4th year, Woofstock of Le Mars is partnering with Noah's Hope in Sioux
City. Noah's Hope Animal Rescue is non-profit organization that is dedicated to
rescuing abused, neglected and homeless animals to help give them a new life.
They will be on site at Woofstock this Saturday with dogs ready for adoption.
Woofstock takes place from 10-3p beginning with an outdoor "Poochie Parade."
During the noon hour enjoy a hot dog lunch with all the trimmings while being
surrounded by pet related vendors, kids games, a water and treat bar for dogs,
and much more.
New this year is the Doggie Dash. Judy explains.

Over 100 dogs and between 200 to 300 human attendees are expected at Woofstock
2012, but Judy says that there's something there for everyone.

Proceeds from the silent auction go to benefit future Woofstock's as well as the
museum. An additional collection will be taken to benefit Noah's Hope Animal
Rescue to buy food and provide shots for their dogs.
