of the line-up for this years "On Stage Orange City" series.


Onstage Orange City 2012 Schedule:

May 30 – Lionel Young Band

First ever double winner, International Blues Challenge, 2008 & 20011. Distinctive brand of blues on the electric violin. Sponsor: Orange City Sanitation

June 6 – Festival Latino

Come at 5:00 for food, music, games & more: Festival Latino. Featured dance troupes at 7:00 – Estrella de Jalisco and La Perla Tapatia from Sioux City. Sponsor: Advance Pierre Foods

June 13 – Six Appeal

Creating a buzz in the a cappella world: six Twin Cities guys with a cheeky name, but amazing vocal dexterity. Classic oldies, today’s hits. Sponsors: D & L Plumbing & Heating and Quatro Composites™

June 20 – Orange City Area Community Band

Outstanding regional musicians, directed by Carla Van Beek. Sponsor: Diamond Vogel Paint.

June 27 – Orange City’s Got Talent

Ever-popular local talent show with Community Appreciation Meal & Grand Opening of Prairie Winds Event Center. Location: Prairie Winds Event Center. Sponsors: Iowa State Bank & Quatro Composites™

July 4 – Bella Ruse & 4th of July Celebration

Airy folk & crunch pop by Joseph Barker & Kay Gill. Fun begins at 3:00 w/ a mini carnival: games, food, old-fashioned parade. Bella Ruse: 6:00 to 7:30. Sponsors: CIVCO Medical Solutions & Quatro Composites™

July 11 – Orange City Area Community Band

August 1 – Orange City Area Community Band

August 8 – Kelley Hunt

An identity steeped in blues, roots & gospel traditions with a refreshing originality. A voice that grafts passionate blues to scorching soul. Sponsor: Bird House Rentals

August 15 – The School House Company

A family-friendly show performed by the theatre company who brought It’s a Wonderful Life and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) to town. Stay for OC Rec’s film, Dolphin Tale, at dusk. Sponsor: Pizza Ranch Restaurant

August 22 – Blame Sally

There’s a lot of Stevie Nicks in Blame Sally’s countrified folk rock, but these veterans are less full of themselves, earthier, more self-assured – & more fun, too. Come early for the motorcycle show. Sponsors: Community Bank of Alton & Orange City and Quatro Composites™
