Mock Library - Future Restaurant?

(Le Mars) -- What was at one time the Charles Mock library as part of the Westmar College, may soon be a new restaurant.  The Le Mars City Council approved the sale of the building for $5000 to John and Sharon Sailer of Le Mars.  City administrator, Scott Langel says the city received two offers for the building.

Sharon Sailer, along with her husband John, are the new owners of the building.  Sailer tells of their dream for the building.

Sailer says a lot of work needs to be done in order to convert the library and office building into a restaurant.  She says they hope to get started within the next week and perhaps have it ready for the public within a year.  Sailer says they have managed and operated restaurants in Sioux City.  Sailer says they won't be utilizing the entire building, but adds there will be other businesses located in the structure.
