Ervin Ahlers of Remsen is the KLEM Citizen of the Day for February 18, 2013.  Ervin has been over 50 years a member of Remsen VFW and because of his efforts the memorial to the Remsen area veterans was completed.  He is Remsen’s Citizen of the Year.  He may pick up a boutonniere from the Le Mars Flower House, pizza from Pizza Hut in Le Mars and car wash from Easy Clean car wash.
