Museum To Show New Wildlife Display
(Le Mars) -- Three new additions to the wildlife collection at the Plymouth County Historical Museum will be at the center of a "Welcome to Spring" party scheduled for the Museum at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29. Making their debut at the Museum will be a black bear, a raccoon and a great horned owl. Dawn Synder, education program director at the Dorthy Pecaut Nature Center near Sioux City will be the featured speaker in the Museum's study hall. Next Door is the Loess Hills wildlife exhibit. Paul Williams of Hinton will be on hand to talk about the American Indian artifacts he has donated to the Museum a few years ago. The American Indian exhibit is in the Loess Hills Hallway.
The new taxidermy wildlife exhibit has been donated by the Bruce Brock family.
