Norma Ahlers, 96, of Remsen, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Orange City Health Systems Hospital in Orange City, IA.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic  Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy and Deacon Rick Roder officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.   Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.  There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.  Condolences may be sent online to www.fischfh.com.

Rose Mary Woolworth, 77, of Le Mars passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Father Paul Eisele will celebrate Mass.   Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  A Rosary Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. and a scripture service will take place at 7:30 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Saturday.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com.

Edward A. Kilker, 83, of Le Mars, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place Monday March 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars.  Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Sunday March 3 with the family present from 5-7 and a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, Le Mars.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com.

Leonard William Sonnichsen, 81, of Le Mars, Iowa, departed peacefully to his heavenly home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Palm Desert, California.  A memorial service will be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church LCMS in Remsen, with Pastor Dennis Martens officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.   There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. all at the church.  Visitation will resume one hour prior to service on Monday.  Burial will be at a later date in the Remsen Community Cemetery.  Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home and Monument in Remsen.
