Bonnie E. (Bauer) DeMers, 86, of Ankeny, formerly of Spencer, Iowa passed away on Monday August 16, 2010 at Hospice Mercy-Johnston, Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus, Iowa with Father Armand Bertrand officiating. Interment will be at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery, Marcus, Iowa. Visitations will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 20th at the church. Arrangements are with the Carlsen Funeral Home of Le Mars. Lucille M. Kehrberg, 94, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and formerly of Pierson and Kingsley, passed away Thursday morning, August 12, 2010, at the St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa. Interment will be in the Kingsley City Cemetery.
Visitation, with the family present, will be on Monday, August 16, 2010, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will resume on Tuesday morning, one hour prior to Lucille’s service.

Ervin Ommen, 84, of Ceylon, Minnesota, formerly of Akron, Iowa passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home in Luverne, Minnesota.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon, Minnesota.  Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Craig, Iowa. Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2010, with a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon, Minnesota. George Frerichs, 78, of LeMars, Iowa passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 11 at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.  Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars, Iowa.  Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars with Military Honors provided by Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral.
