Pastor Donald L. Deines, 65, of Austin, Minnesota, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Northfield, MN. Pastor Don's first parish was St. John's American Lutheran Church in Le Mars where he served as youth pastor from 1971-1975. Funeral services for Don Deines  are Friday, June 11, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at our Savior's Lutheran Church in Austin, Minnesota.  He retired from Our Savior's after serving as senior pastor for 16 years. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, IA. Visitation will be at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is Thursday, June 10th from 4 to 8 PM and at the church on Friday for one hour before the service.  The Clasen Jordan Funeral Home in Austin, MN is in charge of arrangements for Pastor Donald Deines, formerly a youth pastor at St. John's in Le Mars. www.clasenjordan.com

Peter Moss, age 83, of Orange City, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars. There will be a memorial service on Friday, June 11, at 11:00am, at the First Reformed Church in Orange City. Interment will be prior to the service at the Hospers Cemetery. There will be a prayer service on Friday at 9:30am at the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Thursday, with the family present from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at the funeral home. Arrangements are with the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Franz Schneider, 94, of Le Mars passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral arrangements are with the Carlsen Funeral Home of Le Mars.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars. Interment with military honors provided by the Wasmer American Legion Post #241 will be in the Memorial Cemetery, Le Mars. Visitations will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present to greet friends after 5:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Larry Gaul, 54, of Le Mars passed away at his Le Mars home Tuesday June 8, 2010, following a lengthy illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday June 11, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars . Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation is anytime after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars, where there will be a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday morning at the Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars which is in charge of arrangements.
