Anne C. Clark, 88, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society in Le Mars. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa. Reverend Matt Hewitt of St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Pukwana, South Dakota. Visitation with the family present will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Harold "Bud" Higman, Sr., 94, of Akron, Iowa passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron. Reverend Dawn Quame will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Harley R. Hiemstra, 89, of Kingsley, Iowa, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at a Sioux City hospital. Funeral services will be held @ 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Kingsley, Iowa, with Reverend Roger Kurtenbach officiating. Burial will be at Kingsley Cemetery in Kingsley. Visitation begins 4 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m., all at the United Methodist Church in Kingsley. The Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa is handling all funeral arrangements.

   

Catherine (Kate) Henrich

Catherine (Kate) Henrich, 76, of Kingsley, Iowa, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kingsley, Iowa, with Reverend Mark Stoll officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Kingsley. Visitation begins at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m., and a Scripture Service @ 7:00 p.m., all at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kingsley. Margaretta Cook, 91, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at her home in Le Mars following a lengthy illness. Burial will follow in the Seney Cemetery in Seney. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Ireton, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home. Reinard “Reine” Dreckman, 86, of Le Mars passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars with Father Kevin Richter officiating. Interment with Military Honors provided by the Wasmer American Legion Post #241 will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home. There will be a 4:00 p.m. Parish Rosary followed by a 7:30 p.m. Vigil Wake Service all at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Tuesday morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Larry D. Knaack

Larry D. Knaack, 71, of Correctionville, Iowa, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 16, 2011, at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the United Methodist Church in Correctionville, Iowa, with the Rev. Sheryl Ashley officiating. Interment will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, rural Correctionville.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa. Brody Grant Freking

Brody Grant Freking, 14, the son of Chuck and Shelly Freking,  of Grimes, IA, formerly of Sergeant Bluff, IA, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from injuries suffered in a motocross accident in Sedalia, MO. Memorial services for Brody will  be on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Grimes United Methodist  Church in Grimes, Iowa and Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at  Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City, IA with Rev. Jeremy Grant officiating at both. Private family burial of his cremains will be at  a later date in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd. in Sioux City. James Grahlmann, 79, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Abiding by his wishes, Jim was cremated.
