Gerald Manning, 85, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Father Paul Eisele will celebrate Mass.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.  The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at church prior to Mass on Monday.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com.

Rose Bolser, 100, of Le Mars passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Denver, Colorado surrounded by her family.  Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ in Le Mars.  Rev. Janis Christensen will officiate.  Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.  The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Wednesday.   Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com

Leroy Vos, 76, of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away Friday morning at Mercy Medical Centerin Sioux Citysurround by his family.  Leroy battled courageously for 4 years against  Leukemia.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Le Mars, Iowa (326 7th St. SE) with Reverend Ken Vander Ploeg officiating.  Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Riverview Cemetery, Rock Rapids, Iowa.  Visitation with the family present will be after 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service Monday evening.  Visitation will continue Tuesday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.  Expression of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.

Irmgard  Luksan, 99, of Hinton, Iowa passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Sunrise Retirement Community in Sioux City, Iowa.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton, Iowa with Reverend Steve Stoll officiating.  Interment will be at the church cemetery.  Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present to greet friends after 6:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service.  Visitations will continue at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.  Condolences can be sent to www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.
