Genevieve Carstensen, 74, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home in Le Mars.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Rev. Gary Landsness of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars will officiate.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home.  The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 5:30 p.m.  Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Beau Langel, 32, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his brother’s home near Le Mars following a lengthy battle with ALS.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Reverend Kevin Richter will celebrate.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the church.  There will be a Parish Rosary at 5:00 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at the church.  The Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars is in charge of arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Grant, 65, of Merrill, Iowa passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa.
A Scriptural Prayer Service will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Reverend Paul Eisele from St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars will officiate.  Inurnment of her ashes will be in Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Merrill.  Visitation with the family present will be after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.

Elna J. Lindgren, 90, of Kingsley passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center in Kingsley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at First Lutheran Church in Kingsley with Rev.
