Gordon D. Phipps, 63, of Le Mars passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 27, 2010 in Oil City , Pennsylvania while visiting family. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars , Iowa . Monsignor R. Mark Duchaine will celebrate Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Saturday. Frances C. Grabe, 85, of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 1, 2010, at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010, at the Salem Lutheran Church, rural Correctionville, with Pastor Bert Burwell, A.i.M, officiating. Interment will be in the Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa. Arlo Herman Beermann, 73. of Le Mars, formerly of the Ireton and Hawarden area, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.  Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 30, 2010.  Rev. Todd Bunge officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. John's Cemetery rural Ireton with military rites by the Ireton American Legion Bertram Post #276.  Condolences may be sent to Porter Funeral Home.

Ronald M. Bock, 78, of Le Mars passed away at his home on Friday, November 26, 2010.
