Frank A. Orban, 94, of Le Mars passed away suddenly Sunday, Oct 3, 2010 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Mass of Christian Burial will 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars with Father Matt Hewitt officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitations will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home with a 4:00 p.m. Parish Rosary followed by a 7:00 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service. Cecil L. Crabb, 94, of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away Saturday evening, October 2, 2010, at the Sunrise Retirement Community in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa. Inurnment will be in the Kingsley Cemetery with Masonic Rites provided by the Cosmos Lodge #470 of Kingsley.

Esther M. Swanson, 97, of Akron passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron, Iowa with Reverend Dawn Quame officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. Visitations will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home, Schroeder Chapel in Akron with the family present to greet friends after 5:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Jordon A. Strang, 29, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 6-8 p.m. to greet friends.
