Geralyn Ann “Geri” Langel, 53, of Le Mars, passed away Wednesday, September 08, 2010, surrounded by her family at her home. Funeral Arrangements are with the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 11, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitations will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars, where there will be a rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Arrangements are with the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars. Jay Even, 84, of Alton, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010,  at his residence. There will be a funeral service on Friday, September 10, at 10:30am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. The Rev. Father Paul Eisele and Monsignor Nicholas Ruba will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm on Thursday, with a rosary at 5:30pm, a vigil service at 7:30pm, and the family present from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and 7:00pm to 8:30pm, at the church.

Gregory Schlichte, 79, of Craig, Iowa, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday September 7, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Granville. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Granville. Visitations will begin at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars, where there will be a rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be for one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Church in Granville.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com
