James “Jim” Netley, 63, of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 30, 2010 near Akron, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at Adaville United Methodist Church, 21150 C-38, rural Merrill.   Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Merrill, IA. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010, with the family present after 5:00 p.m., and a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at Adaville United Methodist Church. Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Richard "Rich" Martin, 36, of Le Mars passed away suddenly Monday, August 30, 2010 from injuries sustained in a truck accident. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home of Le Mars. Visitations will be after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends after 5:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Clifford “Jake” Lehmann, 74, died Sunday at his home in Merrill, after a two and a half year battle against bile duct cancer.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 4pm to 7pm at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Family will be present from 5 to 7pm. to greet friends. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 7pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Merrill. Carl W. "Chuck" Mammen, 99, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2010 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars.  Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars.
