Don Dickman, 85, of Merrill, Iowa passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church in Merrill with Reverend Peter Boe officiating. Interment with Military Honors provided by the Merrill Olseon-Halweg American Legion Post #125 at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present after 6:00 p.m. to greet friends followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service. Milton “Swede” Anderson, 84, of Akron, Iowa passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the Akron Care Center in Akron.  Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron. Margaret Hoorneman, 97, of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Le Mars, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Shell Point Retirement Community in Ft. Mr. Bernard Bakker, age 83, of Sioux Center, formerly of Hull, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011, at the Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City.  There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, February 1, at 10:00am, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Hull. The Rev. Steven Mehl and Ryan Hoekstra will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
