Gene "Zip" Zimmer, 84, of Le Mars passed away Saturday evening, November 6, 2010 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars with Father Kevin Richter officiating. Interment with Military Honors provided by the Wasmer American Legion Post #241 will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars with a 7:00 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Carol Harris, 73, of Akron, Iowa passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. in Akron, Iowa.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010, with the family present after 5:00 p.m., and a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at the church. Robert  “John”  Johnson, 51, of  Wausa, Nebraska, formerly of Kingsley, Iowa,  died, Monday, November 1, 2010 @ Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010, at the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley, Iowa, with Reverend Duane Miesner officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, following the funeral service there will be a gathering of friends & family in the church fellowship hall for lunch and fellowship.  Burial will be at a later date.  Rohde Funeral Home of Kingsley, Iowa is handling funeral arrangements.

Tim Ferguson, 34, of Westfield, Iowa passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident south of Westfield, Iowa. Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Big Springs Baptist Church, rural Alcester, South Dakota. Pastor Daryl Runion
will officiate. Visitation with the family present will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church and during a time of lunch and fellowship in the church basement following the service.
