Donald J. Jahn, 85, of Pierson, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Pierson United Methodist Church in Pierson with Rev. Bill Cotton officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Pierson, Iowa. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, with the family present 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Ruth M. Elliott, 88, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Orange City Hospital.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars, Iowa.  Father Kevin Richter will celebrate Mass.  Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Sheldon, Iowa.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.  The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a Scriptural Prayer Service scheduled at 7:00 p.m.   There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Saturday.  Stories, memories and expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com

Clayton F. Nemmers, 83, of Le Mars, Iowa died suddenly Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his home in Le Mars. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars with Reverend Matt Hewitt officiating. Interment with Military Honors provided by the American Legion, Wasmer Post #241 will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Ronald R. “Ron” Hansen, 76, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away early Thursday morning, November 4, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Society in Le Mars, Iowa. A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010, at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars with the Rev. Kenneth Koth officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on November 12, 2010. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
