Mildred J. Lang

Mildred J. Lang, 95, of McCook Lake, South Dakota, formerly of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton, Iowa.  Rev. Kevin Stoll will officiate.  Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars.  The family will be present from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Saturday.  Stories, memories and expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com

 

Jonathon Marshall

Jonathon Marshall, 27, of Le Mars passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 east of Akron, Iowa from injuries sustained from a car accident. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with Reverend Kevin Richter of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating.  Abiding by Jon’s wishes, he was cremated.  Visitations with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. until service time.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com

   

Ryan Utesch

Ryan Utesch, 22, of Le Mars, passed away Sunday October 24, 2010 east of Akron, Iowa from injuries sustained from a car accident. 
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preston Township, rural Akron, Iowa.
Reverend Sarah Nye will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010,
with the family present after 5:00 p.m., and a Prayer service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.  Visitation will resume from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.

   

Kim Malcom

Kim Malcom, 45, passed away Sunday, October 24 at her residence in Sioux Center following a three year battle with breast cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars, Iowa. Father Dan Greving will celebrate Mass.  Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Hudson, South Dakota.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. onWednesday, October 27, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars.  The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a ScripturalPrayer Service scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Thursday.  The Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars is assisting Kim’s family with arrangements. Robert "Bob" Leinen

Robert "Bob" Leinen, 73, of Le Mars passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars after a courageous struggle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars with Reverend Kevin Richter officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitations will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home with a 4:00 p.m. Christian Mother's Rosary followed by a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Prayer Service. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com
