Otto “Junior” Herbold, 90, of Char-Mac Assisted Living in Lawton, Iowa, and formerly of Moville and Kingsley, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at the St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley, Iowa, with the Rev. Duane Miesner officiating.  The visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley.  The family will be present from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m.  The visitation will continue at the First Lutheran Church on Thursday morning, one hour prior to Junior’s service.  Stories, memories and condolences may be directed to the family on the www.mauerjohnsonfh.com website. 

Elizabeth L. Deiterman, 89, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars, Iowa. Reverend Matt Hewitt will celebrate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, with a Parish rosary at 4:00 p.m., and a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa. Thelma R. Schweitzberger, 98, of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away  Friday, October 8, 2010, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Kingsley, with the Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating. Interment will be in the Kingsley Cemetery. The visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley. The family will be present from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at the United Methodist Church on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
