Elizabeth “Betsy” Grant, 65, of Merrill, Iowa passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa.
A Scriptural Prayer Service will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Reverend Paul Eisele from St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars will officiate.  Inurnment of her ashes will be in Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Merrill.  Visitation with the family present will be after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.

Elna J. Lindgren, 90, of Kingsley passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center in Kingsley.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at First Lutheran Church in Kingsley with Rev. Duane Miesner officiating.  Burial will be in the Kingsley Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 1, 2013, 4-7 p.m., with family present from 6-7 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the church.  Arrangements are being handled by Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to www.rohdefh.com.

Norma Ahlers, 96, of Remsen, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Orange City Health Systems Hospital in Orange City, IA.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic  Church in Remsen with Rev. Rose Mary Woolworth, 77, of Le Mars passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Father Paul Eisele will celebrate Mass.   Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  A Rosary Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. and a scripture service will take place at 7:30 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Saturday.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com.
