Arnold Ott, 85 of Remsen, IA died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, IA.
Funeral Service will be Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. from Christ Lutheran Church LCMS in Remsen, with Pastor Dennis Martens officiating.  Burial will be in the Remsen Community Cemetery.  Visitation will be anytime after 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.  There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. all at the church.  Visitation will resume Monday from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church.  Services have been entrusted to the Fisch Funeral Home & Monument of Remsen.  Condolences may be sent online to www.fischfh.com.

Jerry Dewey, 61, of Westfield, Iowa passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at his home in Westfield.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Westfield Congregational United Church of Christ in Westfield.  Pastor Barry Miedema will officiate.  Visitation with the family present will be from noon until service time on Tuesday at the church.  The Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa is in charge of arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com. 

Ina Smith, 82, of Le Mars passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars.Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 23, 2013 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will be noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Reverend Greg Gabriel of St. John’s American Lutheran Church will officiate. Donald G. Law, 81, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.  Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars.  Rev. Greg Gabriel will officiate.  Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars with military honors provided by Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.  The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 5:30 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Thursday.  Pallbearers will be Wasmer Post #241 of the American Legion.  Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnsonfh.com
