Alice L. Rieckmann, 96, of Kingsley, Iowa passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Salem Lutheran Church, rural Correctionville, Iowa. Pastor Bert Burwell will officiate. Burial will follow at the Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Johnson – Earnest Funeral Home of Kingsley. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Tuesday. Virginia  “Gini”  Schuller, 62, of Le Mars passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at her home.

Marian V. Utesch, 81, of Oyens, Iowa passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home in Oyens, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Oyens. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Carlsen & Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will be a Parish Rosary at 4:00 p.m., the family will be present to greet friends after 5:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service, all at the funeral home. Bonnie E. (Bauer) DeMers, 86, of Ankeny, formerly of Spencer, Iowa passed away on Monday August 16, 2010 at Hospice Mercy-Johnston, Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus, Iowa with Father Armand Bertrand officiating.
