Richard G. “Dick” Held, 58, of rural Hinton, Iowa passed away unexpectedly at his home near Hinton, Iowa on Monday, August 09, 2010. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Hinton United Methodist Church in Hinton, Iowa.  Burial will follow at Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral. Helen Blake, 85, of Akron, Iowa passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa.  Interment will be at a later date.
