Margaret J. “Peggy” (Boever) Larson, 76, of Marcus, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at her home in Marcus. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus, Iowa. Inurnment will be in the Holy Name Parish Cemetery, Marcus, Iowa. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church, one hour prior to Peggy’s service. The Earnest-Johnson Funeral Home in Marcus is in charge of arrangements for Margaret J. Edna M. Dunne, 94, of Kingsley, Iowa passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center in Kingsley, Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley. Interment will be at the Kingsley Cemetery. Visitations with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29th at First Lutheran Church in Kingsley followed by a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service, all at the church in Kingsley. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Arrangements are with the Carlsen Funeral Home of Le Mars. Richard “Red” Schierling, 74, of Akron, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron, Iowa.  Inurnment will be at a later date in Inman, Kansas. Lois Jean Frank, 78, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Village in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. Rev. Jason Larson will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Akron, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. to greet friends. There will also be one hour of visitation on Friday prior to the funeral.
