Barry T. Saxen, 39, formerly of Pierson, Iowa, passed away on
Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at his home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010, at the United Methodist Church in Pierson, Iowa. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Pierson, Iowa.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa, with the family present from
5 to 8:00 p.m. and a prayer service scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Monday morning at the United Methodist Church in Pierson, one hour prior to Barry's service.

Briggs Todd Allen, infant son of Todd and Mindi (Roepke) Allen, was born 11:15 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars; he weighed 5 lbs 8 oz. and was 19" long.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Le Mars United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Lorna "June" Doud, 80,  of Le Mars died Thursday, May 27, 2010, surrounded by family at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City following a brief illness. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars will be after 3 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 where there will be a Catholic Daughters of America and Christian Mothers Society rosary at 4 p.m. and a Vigil Prayer service at 7 p.m., all at the church.
