Vesta D. Criswell, 96, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at The Abbey of Le Mars. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars, Iowa. Interment will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitations with the family present will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Janice Gay (Klemme) Rohlfs, 69, of rural Akron, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron, Iowa. Rev. Dawn J. Quame will officiate. Burial will follow at the Plymouth Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Akron, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Friday. Dorothy M. Klemme, 88, of Le Mars, died Sunday, May 16, at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig, Iowa. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18 at the Mauer - Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Wednesday. M. Catherine Hamman, 100, of Kingsley, passed away, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kingsley. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00p.m., with the family present during this time, and a Scriptural Wake service at 7:00 p.m. all at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa.
