Merlyn Cronin, age 89 of Marcus, IA, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Heartland Care Center in Marcus. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2013, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Marcus. Visitation will be AT THE CHURCH, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Thursday. The family will be present at the church from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Burial will be at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery in Marcus. Alvin J. Full, 85 years old, of Alton, IA, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Orange City Area Health Systems Hospital in Orange City, IA. 
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton with Rev. Terry Roder officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Alton.  Graveside military honors will be conducted by Floyd Post 200 American Legion.  Visitation will be any time after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2012.  There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m., all at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.  Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.  Condolences may be sent online to www.fischfh.com.

Cletus J. Dreckman, 89, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Reverend Kevin Richter and Reverend Merlin Schrad will concelebrate Mass.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation with the family present will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 4:00 p.m., and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.  The Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars is in charge of arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.

Hamilton, 89, of Merrill, Iowa passed away peacefully Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars, Iowa.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at the United Methodist Church in Merrill, Iowa.  Visitation with the family present will be after 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with a 5:00 p.m. prayer service Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.  Visitation will continue Monday morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.    Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.
