Rachel J. Westhoff, 70, of Le Mars passed away suddenly Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. with Reverend Gary Landsness officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with the family present to greet friends after 5:00 p.m. followed by a 7:00 p.m. prayer service Monday evening at the funeral home.  Visitations will continue Tuesday morning at the church from 9:30 until service time.   Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com of Le Mars.

Bernard A. Benson, 89, of Pierson, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Salem Lutheran Church of rural Correctionville, with Reverend Lorene Glant officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.  Burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery, rural Correctionville, Iowa.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley, Iowa.

Bert Kamies, age 90, of Le Mars, Iowa, formerly of Sheldon, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Plymouth Manor in Le Mars, Iowa.  Funeral Services will be Wendesday, January 23, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheldon, Iowa. Rev. Craig Nissen officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Sheldon.  Visitation will be Tuesday. Catherine Evans, 91, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Plymouth Care Center in Le Mars.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Reverend Kevin Richter will celebrate.  Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Oyens, Iowa.  Visitation with the family present will be after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 with a Christian Mothers Rosary at 4:00 p.m., and a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Visitation will resume one hour prior to Mass on Thursday at the church.   Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.
