Ahlers, Ortmann are queen, king

 

(LE MARS)--A second half touchdown run by senior Judd Herzberg secured a 14-0 homecoming victory for the Le Mars Bulldogs Friday night over the Spencer Tigers.

The Homecoming queen and king  were announced by Mistress of Ceremonies Kirstie Ruhland and Master of Ceremonies Zach Reed during coronation Friday afternoon.

King Cody Ortman is the son of Tom and Lori Ortmann of Le Mars. Kristen Ahlers, the daughter of John and Deb Ahlers,  is wearing her second crown this year. She is also the 2010 Plymouth County Fair queen. Other royalty members include Palani Permeswaran, Judd Herzberg, Jeremy Bohlke, Hunter Rohde, and Curt Durr as well as Erica Westhoff, Lauren Morehead, Lindsay Martin, Leah Clement and Kasie Collins
